During my career, I haven’t had as many chances to illustrate as I’d like. On my own time, I do personal illustration projects. I thought I’d share a few here.
Lately, I’ve been working on how to draw human anatomy and faces. The goal is to get good enough at humans that I can create compelling pieces that champion stress-busting tools like breathwork and exercise.
I’ve been drawing eyes since I was in grade school. I drew this piece by hand then scanned it in and painted it in Adobe Photoshop. Lastly, I added a geometric shape I had drawn in Adobe Illustrator.
I hand drew these gemstones and then painted them with watercolors. After that, I scanned them in and cleaned them up in Adobe Photoshop. I was working on painting light, reflection, and stunning colors as well as integrating hand-drawn elements with digital software.
